Is peppermint tea caffeine free?

Yes. Peppermint and spearmint are herbs, not tea leaves, so the cup is naturally caffeine free.

What is the difference between peppermint and spearmint tea?

Peppermint is higher in menthol, so it tastes cooler and sharper. Spearmint is softer and sweeter. Pacific Coast Mint blends both so you get the lift of peppermint with a smooth finish.

What does Pacific Coast Mint taste like?

Cool and sharp on the first sip, then smooth and slightly sweet. Bright, clean and refreshing, with no bitterness even when steeped long.

How do I brew peppermint tea?

Use one tablespoon per 8 oz of water at 206°F and steep for 5 to 7 minutes. Mint does not turn bitter with a longer steep, so brew it as strong as you like.

Yes. Brew it double strength and pour over ice, or cold brew in the refrigerator for 12 to 14 hours. It is one of the easiest teas to drink cold.

Where does the mint come from?

Farms on the Oregon and California coasts. Both herbs are grown in the United States and certified organic.
