Apparently “Tea” a simple yet refined product of Mother Nature is being used again to stir up political craze across the nation. The first signs since the Boston Tea Party. Today according to New Hampshire News an envelop containing tea was sent to Congresswoman Shea-Porter in New Hampshire. The envelop contained loose leaf green tea and a bag marked “Tea Protest.”

This was apparently an attack on Federal spending.

A scary one at that… A postcard could have made a statement as well.

Regardless of ones views…why waste good tea as a political statement?

A few months back the Tea Council of USA awarded 26 year old Los Angeles based film student John Ford $20,000 for this fun video on the health benefits of tea. Out of  700 student entries that’s quite a feat!  Click here to read about it or check out the video. Congrats John!
