Hello!
Great video's! Love that you are reaching out and teaching about tea to everyone!
I've known about the hot water trick to supposedly decaf tea - I just don't think it really works!!! In your experience do you really not feel any effects of caffeine once you do this?
Would love to get people's feedback on this!
Maybe I'm really sensitive to caffeine, but I still get the jitters!
ps: Your Teas are amazing!

Love the videos!

I've been decaffeinating my teas for some time, and some teas take to it better than others, in terms of retaining flavor; my favorites are pu-erh and oolongs.

However, I find that rolled leaves (or packed leaves like in a cake of pu-erh) take more than a few seconds, and up to a minute of steeping to remove enough caffeine for me. Even though the caffeine is on the outside of the leaf, the outside of the leaf is rolled up, and until it unfurls somewhat, the caffeine remains.

So I just want to add that different teas may need different amounts of steeping in order to remove enough caffeine for your taste.

These are fun. I love that it is raw and real...I am a seasoned tea drinker and even though its not polished just that as a tea master blender you are sharing and opening up your knowledge is what the art of tea is about.
Just one question, what happens to the tea if I refrigerate it?
