Storage Art of Tea recommends storing your fine tea away from heat, moisture, and exposure to light. Store your tea in airtight containers to ensure longevity which should minimize exposure to air and humidity contact. Fine teas are fragile and can easily be changed due to neighboring strong spices and aromas. Storing of tea is about flavor control and ensuring value long after production. Water Always use fresh cold water. Spring
water or filtered water is recommended. Low mineral bottled water or
distilled water can be used if water in your area is hard. It is best
to avoid reheating the same batch of water. Either boil small batches
of water one at a time or dilute it with a fresh one. This will allow
more control of the temperature and a more enhanced tasting experience
when brewing your tea. |
